So true. I have a math degree, yet now work as a business consultant, helping companies earn more money. I did learn a lot when I studied it on my own, but more comes from trial and error as I work with my clients to grow their businesses. After a few years, I do have a far better idea of what is likely to work for this particular business in their particular niche, but I'm still being surprised - just because something worked in one place, it doesn't mean it will work elsewhere.

I just wished my clients knew this.
